Martin Schippers is a landscape photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. Specializing in medium format prints on traditional cotton rag stocks. Driven by a passion for changing light and remote terrain, Martin spends weeks scouting locations to capture fleeting moments in nature. His work has been featured in regional exhibitions and is held in private collections across the country.
Hi and thanks for stopping by! My main purpose is to share my attempts at capturing the sheer beauty of our natural world. I can’t get enough of it and can spend days on the road, shooting, camping, and most of all, JUST BEING THERE! More fun happens when I get home to see what’s on the card and process the captures. Coming from a reproduction background in print, where I specialized in color, my prints come out and I smile.
